There was a girl named Tilly
who was silly
she owned a mat
and had a pet rat
who liked to wear shirts that were frilly. 

There was a cat named Pat
who liked to eat off a mat
which was on the floor
next to the door
and had a friend named Rat.

There was an old man from Pure
who dreamt he was eating a shoe

                               He awoke in the night
                               with a terrible fright
                           and found out it was true.
